Sampoerna Kayoe FSC CoC Maintain The Sustainability

Jombang – Sampoerna Kayoe is pleased to announce that our factories in the Jombang Regency have acquired FSC Chain of Custody (CoC), which ensures that the factories have full traceability in its sourcing. This announcement marks another major milestone in our sustainability journey. Over the last 2 years, we have consistently worked towards obtaining FSC certifications across our operations. The FSC CoC certification verifies that our raw materials are sourced from legal concessions and ensures traceability as our logs make its way along the supply chain – from the forest to the market. To achieve certification, factory operations must meet strict standards involving both management practices and documentation systems.

We now aim to go even further in supporting sustainable forests and the climate benefits they bring, as we partner with smallholder farmers in East Java and Sumatera to obtain forest management certifications, ensuring responsibly sourced raw materials and improving local livelihoods.
